Menkaren are a race of conquerors. They are rulers of half the quadrant. Initially in their attack of the entire quadrant they were very close to overall victory. Due to the inclusion of the Volantis warriors and the formation of United Free Space, they were turned back. U.S.F. is still the main deterrent of their continued conquest.

    The Menkaren turned toward their half of the quadrant building up their armament and experimenting in genetics in hopes of gaining an advantage. Many planets within their space have yet to join the Menkaren ranks. At the time of the Free Space War it was decided that planets that gave resistance would be passed over until after the war so they would not  spread forces too thin.

   They would experiment on the species found within their borders and conquer the planets that resisted initially. The war will be won.
